This year the 10th jubilee Summer Youth Games will be organised. The traditional scene of the festival will be visited by Magna Cum Laude, and Quimby, the famous violinist, Lajkó Félix and the singer, Rúzsa Magdi, and other famous dj-s, groups and folk-musicians.

In 1997 on the occasion of the 300 anniversary of the Battle of Senta a memorial was raised on the bank of the river Tisa. Now, twelve years after the town sets up a new memorial. The tower of the townhall is going to be devoted to the illustrious historical event.

Three type of "Senta weekend" travel packages can be booked. The "Battle of Senta" weekend is connected to Senta's history. This package is based on the world-famous triumph over the Turks, and includes a Battle of Senta feast, sightseeing, a Scenes from the Battle of Senta performance and more.
The "Pigsticking" weekend gives an almost complete, but wholly unforgettable picture about the lifestyle and traditions of local people. The package is full of feasting, good music in rural surroundings.
The "Rural Wedding" weekend is a package, where we are invited as guests for a real rural traditional wedding.

Tisa fiesta will be organised in Senta in 22nd and 23rd of August. This is a very colourful multiethnical music programme, with the aim to get in touch with different styles and music cultures.
The programme will be in front of the Statue of Ferryman, and in front of the Townhall. After the open-air concerts, the guest bands continue playing in three clubs of Senta: Mojo, Jail, Zen. Welcome!
