It was built between 1907 and 1909 following the plans of Berzenczey Domonkos, the respected architect of Senta famous for his Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance style.

The building’s architecture is solemn, characteristic element of the Main Square. The Museum of Senta is also located in this building.
