It was built between 1907 and 1909 following the plans of Berzenczey Domonkos, the respected architect of Senta famous for his Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance style.

It was built in Neo-Gothic style between 1893 and 1896 according to the plans of Szilágyi János, architect from Budapest.

This Neo-gothic building with its characteristic architecture was built between 1909 and 1910 following Berzenczey Domonkos’s plans.

The church’s foundation-stone was laid on 11th September 1996.

It is the oldest edifice in Senta built before 1762 in Baroque style. (Supposedly they started to build it around 1751.)

Building of the church begun with sanctifying of its groundstone by Dean Ferenc Tamás on 24th June, 1938.
